As is often the case, I was inspired by the most fleeting of suggestions to write this track.

Watching a BBC weather forecast, the presenter showed a huge stack of cloud building offshore of England’s South-West corner. “And this is the rainmaker” he said…and that was enough for me.

The track you hear is somewhat different from my original intention (that first idea will appear in some form on the next album under another billing) – the title lent itself to something cool and jazzy, not to mention embracing a DnB vibe I’ve tried to include on every album since ‘Isolation’.
