My old friend, musician and artist Jon Watkins was visiting these shores earlier this year from his adopted homeland of Australia. You might recall that Jon was the sleeve designer of our last album, 'The Saturday Bridge'.

Given that, in his early career, he had designed sleeves for INXS, Talking Heads and Midnight Oil, to name but a few, it elevated us into a very different class as far as album sleeves go.

Anyway, Jon had been out with us for a meal and as we returned home, was watching my car's dashcam. "Can you download that footage?" he asked. I explained that I could, but not without the system's telemetry appearing also.

"Alright," he responded. "Write some music to go with that...make it about three minutes." There was, as you'd expect, some small exchange about the unlikely scenario of me writing anything three minutes long, but Jon insisted.

The track was put together with a night-time drive in mind, knowing full well that Jon's accompanying video would probably veer wildly away from that idea. As soon as the track was completed, I sent it over to him and awaited the result.
